About me
Let's get acquainted!
My name is
Irina Petrova
I am a certified IFS therapist and practice the “IFS – Internal Family Systems” method. This method, combined with the skills of a clinical psychologist, gives high results in working with people and allows for effective psychotherapy.
In 2000-2006, I received higher education at the State Academy of Slavic Culture (GASK) in Moscow. After defending a diploma in a specialty "Clinical Psychology" I was awarded the qualification of Psychologist and Teacher of Psychology.
In 2008, I got married, took my husband’s last name, and my maiden name Morozova remained only on my diploma. Higher education gave me general fundamental knowledge in such areas as: clinical psychology and psychogenetics, family counseling and therapy, conflictology, psychodiagnostics, clinical psychology of childhood, perinatal psychology, psychology of deviant behavior, group and individual psychotherapy.
After graduating from the academy, I continue to improve my skills. In 2022, I received a second level IFS therapist diploma with a specialization in Eating Disorders and Addictions.

Now I work with clients all over the world and conduct sessions in three languages: Russian, English and Spanish. I I practice the IFS method, guided by the rule: “A psychotherapist is not a healer, a person heals his own internal system. A psychotherapist is a guide, a kind of navigator through a person’s internal system.”
